ok so we booked a vacation package for treehouse villas in feb. We put down the 200 deposit. We don’t want the vacation package anymore. Can we take that off and do room only reservation and still have just the room. We will be willing to pay the first night stay. Also does the 200 go towards the first night if we can do room only reservation

Yes you can get your money back. Disney offers full refunds if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival. Traditionally, Disney will have to cancel the originally reservation completely, refund your money, and then rebook you. If you are going to cancel, do it now. Otherwise the room prices may change or be unavailable.

My cousin is coming to the states and he is a foreigner here so me and my family were thinking of sending to Disney world for a couple days but we need a package of airplanes tickets and hotel and Disney world admission tickets all in one package. However I would check into air through sites like orbitz FIRST. Sometimes you can get air cheaper through them or similar sites rather than through disney. If ticket price is close or Disney has lower air then you can do it all through disney,

is there a website that offers reduced prices? were looking for about 3 days. is that long enough? is it cheaper to order them online or to purchase them when you arrive at the park?

First off…Happy Birthday!! 3 days for Disney is an ok amount. People usually go for a week. Considering there are 4 parks. But 3 days is better then nothing!! Since youre 16 you may not want to do everything, like Play House Disney, or other attractions geared toward younger children. A place to get good discount tickets is http://www.undercovertourist.com/. Mouse Savers actually reccomends them and Ive used them before. They are one of the best deals you can get, but its not much of a discount. You definitely want to purchase your tickets online, to avoid ticket lines at the park giving you more time to ride, especially with your 3 day schedule. How lucky of you to be going to Disney for your birthday! I hope you have fun!! Dont forget to tell the waiters/waitresses at restaurants that its your birthday they usually do something special! Can I still get Disney’s Magical Express service if I don’t buy the plane tickets while creating a package at the WDW website? You can add Disney’s Magical Express service anytime. As soon as you know your flight information, contact Disney Reservations at (407) W-DISNEY and tell them you’d like to add Disney’s Magical Express service to your reservation. There’s absolutely no charge for this, and it’s not required that you buy your air travel through the Disney web site.

I did this with my family’s trip to Walt Disney World last spring. I booked my own air because I had a voucher with the airline so I got a better deal by booking my own air travel.

One of the best benefits of the service is that they send you bag tags for your checked luggage, and once you check it in at your originating airport, you don’t see (or touch) your bags again until you get to your hotel room. Disney picks your tagged bags up at the Orlando airport before they even come out on the belt, and whisks them to your resort so that they’re there by the time you arrive (or shortly thereafter).

Likewise, you can also check your bags at the resort on your day of departure and then get on the bus, and your bags will be checked for you (there’s a nominal fee for this service in addition to what you must pay the airline for your checked bags, but I found it to be quite worth it — not having to touch the bags.)

The benefits Disney gives you from staying "on-site" out weigh the price you pay for the hotel (in my opinion). Plus, where else can you find such wonderfully themed and magical hotels!!

Talk to your local travel agency. This is what they do for a living and they have a ton of resources available to them. Not only are they actually are more affordable than you would imagine, but they are able to get a ton of deals that you couldn’t necessarily find online.

Generally, packages are cheaper than if you purchase the airfare and hotel separately. I’ve gotten some excellent deals on international flights/hotel on Expedia.
