Yes you can get your money back. Disney offers full refunds if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival. Traditionally, Disney will have to cancel the originally reservation completely, refund your money, and then rebook you. If you are going to cancel, do it now. Otherwise the room prices may change or be unavailable.

You’ll need to call the hotel to see if you can get your money back/cancel the reservation. Since its so early in the year, I’m sure you can take back the reservation.

Only the hotel can give you the answer you need.

Disney rarely discounts tickets. The specials on packages vary but typically they offer things like book a package and receive the dining plan for free or offer savings on the price of a resort room. I believe the pay for 4 stay for 7 special last yr did include not only free accommodations for the additional 3 nights but also park tickets. Basically you paid the price for a 4 day package and received a 7 day package.

The best value is offered by Disney when you stay on property. However, the ticket component of the package is going to be the same regardless of whether or not you stay on Disney property. The benefits of staying on-property come in extra value-added options, like free transportation to and from the airport, extra magic hours, free transportation on-property, and the opportunity to purchase the Disney Dining Plan which allows you substantial discounts on food service.

The tickets themselves are priced according to how many days you want to purchase, from 1-10. The more days you purchase, the less the per-day cost is.

You can also choose to add-on an option that allows your ticket to be used for "Water Parks and More", including DisneyQuest, Disney’s Wide World of Sports, and the two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon).

There is another option which allows you to "park-hop", meaning that you can go from one park to another on the same day. Without this option, you must select one park for each day to visit.

And the final option you can add on is the "No Expiration" option. With this option, your unused visits never expire. If you don’t add on this option, your ticket expires 14 days after your first use.
