HELP! DISNEY WORLD VACATION PACKAGE?

ok so we booked a vacation package for treehouse villas in feb. We put down the 200 deposit. We don’t want the vacation package anymore. Can we take that off and do room only reservation and still have just the room. We will be willing to pay the first night stay. Also does the 200 go towards the first night if we can do room only reservation

Yes you can get your money back. Disney offers full refunds if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival. Traditionally, Disney will have to cancel the originally reservation completely, refund your money, and then rebook you. If you are going to cancel, do it now. Otherwise the room prices may change or be unavailable.

Are disney world vacation packages out for 2011 yet?

Are they supposed to come out this month? thank you

yes! they just came out today! i already booked our trip for next year! just go to disneyworld.com have fun!

Disney world websites vacation packages?

My cousin is coming to the states and he is a foreigner here so me and my family were thinking of sending to Disney world for a couple days but we need a package of airplanes tickets and hotel and Disney world admission tickets all in one package. Could someone please direct me to a site that lists those kinds of vacations packages ….. Thanks!!!! He’s coming over in a few days maybe a week or two !!!!

He

I would do your Disney resort, tickets and meal plan through Disney.com

However I would check into air through sites like orbitz FIRST. Sometimes you can get air cheaper through them or similar sites rather than through disney. If ticket price is close or Disney has lower air then you can do it all through disney,

If you need help on deciding which resort please let me know.

Disney World Orlando, Florida vacation packages?

Magic your Way Vacation Package for 6nights/7days that is $1769 for a family of 4.
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/vacation-packages/2010/base/
Question: I believe that $1769 includes lodging, but my question is, I want to stay at the Swan and Dolphin, so can i choose to stay there with the package?

Question: For the tickets, I understand the base is just one park a day, but how much does it cost to get the park hopper?

Thanks.

The Swan and Dolphin are not exactly Disney Hotels. So, it seems that they make it a little harder to find. You have to check a box for something like ‘Other Deluxe Hotels’ and they will display.

Of course, any changes you make affect the prices etc.

Check ticket prices online at waltdisneyworld.com. It seems like adding the park hopper option was about $50 per ticket. That is for the entire ticket, not just one day.

Disney world vacation package ?’s?

Going to disney world july 4 thru 10 for the third time and had a few questions about the vacation package.

1. the key to the world i have the none expiring option and will have days left when i leave is that like a regular ticket? they say u use your hotel to get in the parks is this true?

2. say i have a reservation at chef mickey’s at contemporary and i’m stayin at allstar movie do they have direct shuttle to contemporary or do you catch bus to a park and then transfer to hotel.

3. Last year i went week before 4th of july and it was very comfortable and not crowded to me this year im going on the 4th but will not visit the parks until the 5th thru the 9th will it be a lil less crowded than the actual week leading up until the 4th

4. were would be the best place to see fireworks on the 4th without having to go in the parks? I’m trying to avoide the crowd that day and my plane wont get there until 3pm so i dont wanna waste a day ticket for that.

5. im on the dinning plan what are the best places for me my wife and 3 and 10 year old to eat on quick service plan that are in each park? i wanna make sure we eat at the verry best places with our meal plan that are quick service.

6. to save money i already bought my spray fan bottles, ponchos, disney tee shirts localy, disney beech towels. am i missin something i should try to get at local disney store. The spray fan bottle i bought online tho.

7. for the parades are you allowed to bring a portable chair to sit in if not what can i do to be comfortable? My feet hurt so bad standing wacthing the parades.

hope this aint to many questions and thanx for all feed back in advance.

Yes, your tickets will be loaded on to your hotel key. So if you are going to have days left, you’ll have to make arrangements to make sure that this is taken care of. If you have no expiration, they will be able to take care of you, but just be sure you point that out as you are checking in.

The hotels do NOT have buses between them. You’ll need to take a bus to the Ticket and Transportation Center, and from there, you can get anywhere via other buses, monorail, or ferries. The Contemporary has a monorail you can take.

The week surrounding the 4th of July is the busiest time of year with the exception of Christmas week. Expect major crowds your entire visit.

You can get over to the Boardwalk or the Polynesian or somewhere like that to catch some of the fireworks. Transportation will be crazy, so be sure to allow plenty of time.

Quick services restaurants are very similar – it’s not like you’ll miss out on a gourmet meal. I would suggest checking out http://www.allearsnet.com They have the menus and reviews. Everybody has a different opinion on what is good, so you should choose based on what you like.

Sounds like you are well equipped already as far as stuff. Don’t forget sunscreen and possibly hats and sunglasses.

If you get to the parades first thing, you may be able to sit on the curb briefly. But cast members may ask you to move at some point. Basically as far as a guaranteed seat, your only option is to find an empty bench along the parade route and stake it out – and you may very well have to get there 2 hours ahead of time (possibly even more at this super-busy time) to get the bench. They won’t let you set up your own seat.

can you help me with my disney world vacation?

I haven’t gone on vacation since I was little so my parents did all the work and paying for everything. but I am trying to plan this vacation for my boyfriend and I (we will both be 21 on this vacation)to go on. He has never been to Disney World and we live in Florida so… why not? I plan on checking into a hotel September 18 and checking out on September 23. I have looked at packages but I was just wondering if anyone knew a cheaper way to go. I wanted to get a Disney World and Orlando Studios package, but probably will just go with a Disney World package alone. Just help me I don’t know what I am doing. should I just find a cheap hotel somewhere in orlando? should i get an entire package deal? if anyone has and information please pass it along. I would prefer if the people giving me information are adults who have had experience in this area! THANK YOU!

"j" has given you excellent advice about booking a Disney resort and on how to book this trip for the least amount of money, so I won’t repeat that info.

The only things I’d add are:

(1) I’ve been in September – the lines are short and the parks are not very crowded, so it is a great time to go.

(2) You might want to go to Disney’s website and register to receive email updates. This is just for Disney fans; you need not book anything to sign up for email updates. Why is it good? Disney sends out special deals via email. For example, on our most recent trip to Disney (last week!) we booked through a travel agent because even though Disney (and not travel agencies) controls price, we were flying so we wanted a specific physical person we could pester if anything went wrong! Otherwise, I probably would have booked online at Disney’s website since the prices are all the same. However, what I found that is GREAT about the email specials AND about having a travel agent (which I’ll make point (3) ) is that right after we booked, I got a promotional mass-mailer email about a special room deal which would have saved us more money. I called our agent, and she made it happen! We got money back since the new deal (even post-booking) made it less expensive.

(3) See above regarding travel agents.

(4) I agree with the person who said that a park hopper isn’t necessary for 5 days because you can completely fill a day at just one park. However, what I like about park hoppers is that you have flexibility. For example, if Space Mountain is shut down for a mechanical problem on your "Magic Kingdom" day, you can go back on a later day. Also, if bad weather pops up on your "water park day," you can go switch up your plans.

(5) One last comment about Disney Dining Plans: we tried out the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan (3 table service meals [appetizer, entree, drink, dessert] plus 2 snacks per day). It’s too much! We are EATERS and we couldn’t eat that much. The regular Disney Dining plan is one sit-down, one quick service, and one snack per day. Plus, Disney allows you to take food and drinks into the parks – just no alcohol or glass containers. I like having a dining plan because your meals are already paid for (except for tips which are extra). Take heed, however – you should make reservations ASAP if you want to use your table service meals for dinner (or if you want to eat at ANY table service restaurants for dinner). You can make them 180 days in advance, so you should book them now. Last week, which is a relatively slow period, we couldn’t get into any table service restaurants without reservations. (The meals also present another argument in favor of the park hopper – we made reservations for most of our dinners, so it was nice to have the flexibility to change parks during the day before dinner at whatever park had the restaurant.)

Hope this helps – have a MAGICAL vacation!

how much is a disney world resort vacation packages ?

Depends on when you are going and what level hotel you are staying at. Then, how many days of tickets you buy. Then, are you buying any extras, such as the dining plan. And of course, for how many people?

Disney has a Vacation Builder on their website where you can play around with dates and hotels and ticket options to get a quote for free – no obligation to purchase. You don’t have to put in any personal information to use it. You can spend $2,000 or $20,000, it just all depends. Go to their website and play around.

Walt Disney World vacation in October?

I am wanting to go for 3 weeks, is this a good amount of time for me to get better deals rather then going for 2 weeks?
I have found out by most travel agencies that 2 weeks is the amount of time packages are set up.
……
Also we( 2 of us) want to stay inside the park so we can have quick access to the resorts and parks.
Are there any sites that have peoples feedback about these hotels/resorts and what they all experienced?

You are not going to find a better deal at a Disney resort. If you were to rent a house or villa, maybe. Although they usually will give you better deals if you stay a month, not three weeks.

That being said, Disney is huge, but three weeks is way more time than you need if you are planning to stay just at Disney. Two weeks, maybe, but three weeks is a little much.

For reviews and hotel info, my favorite website is http://www.allearsnet.com

They have pictures and information about every hotel, and they have a reviews section that people are constantly adding to.

Need help planning Disney World Trip for family of 4 vacation package?

So me & my family want to go to Disney World in June.

Arrival Date: June 16th
Departure Date: June 23rd or 24th whichever

We remember seeing a Disney commercial talking about a vacation plan for a family of 4 for $1200 or $1300 for a stay of 6nights and 7 days??

Is it possible to get a 6 night-7day vacation plan for Under $1500? It doesn’t need to be a deluxe hotel or anything.
We willl have 2 adults, and 2 children.
Child 1: 6 years old
Child 2: 15 years old

We would like to be at a disney resort so we can get free transportation in the parks & free parking for our car. (& we want fast passes)
We’ll be driving 6hrs down from where we live in south carolina.
As for eating, we’re fine with just eating cheap, any vacation packages that include eating breakfast lunch & dinner?
And if not any nearby places we can go to to eat? What is the best way to eat cheap?
Does the package tickets & going to all Disney Parks & places? Any attractions or good deals around this time in June?
If someone could find us a good package for around that price it would be awesome if not, can you give us a rough estimate of the cheapest way to get a vacation package?

-Please help & Thanks!
does the package INCLUDE* ticketsand going to all disney parks & places?*
does the package INCLUDE* tickets and going to all disney parks & places?*
I also forgot to include we want park hopper tickets so we can go & come when we want!
Also we want park hopper tickets so we can go & come whenever we want into the parks!

actually the comercial stays that a family of four can go for as little as $1600 (not $1200/$1300).
and thats if you just get the basics of a value resort and 4 day base tickets.

its gonna cost you a lot more if you want
-a value resort
-lets say 6 day park hopper tickets (that way you have a couple of relax days)
-the quick service dining plan which gets you 2 quick service meals per person per night, 2 snacks per person per night, and 1 refillable resort mug per person. (you can make that into 3 meals a day if you eat light for breakfast and use a snack credit to get something like a danish, a piece of fruit, or donuts….and then use the quick service meals for lunch and dinner and then have a snack at some point)

for all of that it will cost you about $2,879.22.

and thats not including admission to places like the water parks, disneyquest, disney’s wide world of sports complexk, or the golf course.
if you want to do those things you’d either need to pay separately at the gate or add them to a package. if you’ like to go to more than one of the things i mentioned above you are better off adding the water parks fun and more option onto your package cuz in the long run it will cost less that way.

oh and by the way FASTPASS IS FREE.

disney world vacation packages?

Planning a disney vacation. www.disney.com only gives hotel rates. I’m looking for airplane, hotel, rental car and disney world tickets all included packages. Where can I find more info?

Go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ to get a quote (and book) your room, tickets and airfare. Sometimes you can find better airline deals by searching direct airlines or travel sites. You can not book car rental through the Disney website. There is the Disney Car Care Center that offers Alamo and National rentals, though. They will send a free shuttle to your Disney Resort and bring you back to the DCCC for your car and then do the reverse when you are done with your car.

If you are flying into MCO and staying at a Disney resort you can use Disney’s Magical Express Service which is free roundtrip transportation to/from the airport. You will then have free, unlimited access to all of Disney’s transportation. The only instances that you will need a rental car is if you want to go off Disney property.
