Walt Disney World Plane Tickets help?

Can I still get Disney’s Magical Express service if I don’t buy the plane tickets while creating a package at the WDW website? Or do I have to buy tickets with the package to get the ground transportation service? Thanks in advance. Best answer gets 10 points instantly. Please don’t say simple things, be as descriptive as possible. Thanks :)
Can you give me the link? I can’t seem to find it online. Would LAX (Los Angeles Airport) have it?

Yes, you can!

You can add Disney’s Magical Express service anytime. As soon as you know your flight information, contact Disney Reservations at (407) W-DISNEY and tell them you’d like to add Disney’s Magical Express service to your reservation. There’s absolutely no charge for this, and it’s not required that you buy your air travel through the Disney web site.

I did this with my family’s trip to Walt Disney World last spring. I booked my own air because I had a voucher with the airline so I got a better deal by booking my own air travel.

One of the best benefits of the service is that they send you bag tags for your checked luggage, and once you check it in at your originating airport, you don’t see (or touch) your bags again until you get to your hotel room. Disney picks your tagged bags up at the Orlando airport before they even come out on the belt, and whisks them to your resort so that they’re there by the time you arrive (or shortly thereafter).

Likewise, you can also check your bags at the resort on your day of departure and then get on the bus, and your bags will be checked for you (there’s a nominal fee for this service in addition to what you must pay the airline for your checked bags, but I found it to be quite worth it — not having to touch the bags.)

Have a magical trip!

EDIT: The person who corrected me is most likely correct, and I was most likely wrong. I remember having to call a toll-free number and providing my credit card number, but it is entirely possible that I was paying only my checked baggage fees, and not any additional fee. I stand (or more accurately, sit) corrected. Thanks, Amy.

EDIT #2: See below for the corresponding web site. I’m a little concerned that you mentioned LAX. Did you mean Disneyland? or Disney World? Since you mentioned Disney WORLD specifically, I’m including that link. Currently, Disneyland in Anaheim does not have such a service available.

What are the benefits of staying in a Disney Resort in Walt Disney World? Where’s the best place to get deals?

Do you get to stay at the park later? Are there discounts on tickets to the parks? Do you get free parking? I am trying to figure out if it is work it to "stay on park" or to stay at the Holiday Inn that says it is also on the resort? Also where is the best place to book a disney vacation? Should I call AAA or join a Disney Club?

Yes, each day one of the parks either open early or stays open late (for Disney Resort guests only). Check here for more details: http://www.disneymadesimple.com/extra_magic_hours.html

If you buy tickets for multiple days at a time, yes there is a discount.
Check here for more details: http://www.disneymadesimple.com/walt_disney_world_tickets_and_packages.html

Parking is free (at Disney Resort Hotels) and there is a small fee if you drive to the Theme Park (about $14/car)

The benefits Disney gives you from staying "on-site" out weigh the price you pay for the hotel (in my opinion). Plus, where else can you find such wonderfully themed and magical hotels!!

I have always purchased my packages directly from Disney World.

I hope you enjoy your Disney vacation!

Does anyone know any good sites/travel providers for cheap wedding packages abroad?

We are looking at places such as New York and Mauritiaus (very different I know), but need to keep it as cheap as possible. It will just be the two of us.

Any advice would be very much appreciated thanks.

Talk to your local travel agency. This is what they do for a living and they have a ton of resources available to them. Not only are they actually are more affordable than you would imagine, but they are able to get a ton of deals that you couldn’t necessarily find online.

Do you think the prices of Travel/Tourism packages are expensive?

Or are they priced fairly? For example a travel package to Alaska would cost $4000 for one week with flights, hotels, tours and attractions.

Bonus Quiz:
Which country consistently has the most tourists?
Which European country is the cheapest to travel to (the answer will surprise you)?
The answers are France for most tourists and Croatia for being cheapest despite its location.

Generally, packages are cheaper than if you purchase the airfare and hotel separately. I’ve gotten some excellent deals on international flights/hotel on Expedia.

BQ: Hmm, good question, I really don’t know. I’d guess maybe France or Italy?
Don’t know that, either. Will you send me the answers?

Need help with planning a Disney world vacation?

I was looking to plan a Disney World vacation for 4 adults and my two girls. By the time we are able to go (around April or May), my girls will be 1 and 3. I was looking to see if anyone had any advice about finding discounted rates, tips or any other advice? I have never been, so any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Best advice I can truly give is to leave the little ones at home with someone. Even someone as young as 3 is not going to appreciate and remember the Disney experience. I would definitely leave the one year old at home. I find it so funny to see people carrying around their babies through the park. They don’t realize what’s going on and all those strollers really start to get in other’s way. It’ll cause you to miss out on many activities. You’ll spend more time on strollers, stroller parking, diapers, feedings, bathroom breaks, and remember that kids do not have the patience to sit in the lines. I recently went with a 5 year old family member and by the time noon came around, she was already cranky, hot, and needed a nap. I’m a Disney pro as I’ve lived in Florida for 27 years and have visited Disney over 50 times. I want you to have a great time and not trying to discourage you from going, but it’s going to be a real hassle with the kids. Disney is an all day, fast-paced, vacation if you plan to see it all and get your money’s worth. I do agree with other answers that you should consult the Disney.com website for all travel information. If you’re unfamiliar with the Disney area, I would refrain from using travel sites such as hotwire, expedia, ect. With Disney.com, you’ll be able to book your room, tickets, and even restaurant reservations. They’re very organized and will send everything out to you or hold your information at "will-call" to pick up at any of the ticket counters at Disney World. Start your day at all parks very early. Rule of thumb is to be at the park 30 mins to an hour before opening. I see many people make the mistake of sitting down to eat breakfast, taking their time, and making it to the park by 10:00-11:00. By this time, thousands of people have already entered and are filling up the lines. My advice is to be a super early riser and have someone grab some breakfast to bring back to the room, or take granola bars or a piece of fruit into the parks for breakfast. You mention you’re wanting to go in April or May. Avoid Easter and Memorial Day weekends. It will be packed! If you choose to take your 3 year old, she’ll probably enjoy only Magic Kingdom, as the other parks are a little more adult oriented with bigger rides. I know you probably don’t want to hear keep your girls at home, but I’m promising you, it’s going to be tough with them. Wait until they’re a little older to appreciate and remember the experience.

To be honest Disney Vacation can be a bit tricky, experienced people can save hundred to thousand dollars.

You can browse in the internet for the information, but they all scattered and not easy to found.

But I do know great e-book perfectly fits for you. It is written by disney insiders.
If I don’t mistaken the price is about 20 or 30 bucks. The information on this e-book could save a lot of your money. You can refund the book within 60 days if you don’t satisfied.

Good Luck with your vacation :)

Disney World Orlando, Florida vacation packages?

Magic your Way Vacation Package for 6nights/7days that is $1769 for a family of 4.
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/vacation-packages/2010/base/
Question: I believe that $1769 includes lodging, but my question is, I want to stay at the Swan and Dolphin, so can i choose to stay there with the package?

Question: For the tickets, I understand the base is just one park a day, but how much does it cost to get the park hopper?

Thanks.

The Swan and Dolphin are not exactly Disney Hotels. So, it seems that they make it a little harder to find. You have to check a box for something like ‘Other Deluxe Hotels’ and they will display.

Of course, any changes you make affect the prices etc.

Check ticket prices online at waltdisneyworld.com. It seems like adding the park hopper option was about $50 per ticket. That is for the entire ticket, not just one day.

Can someone help me find cheap hotel and airline tickets to Walt Disney World?

I only want the hotel and airline, I don’t want hopper tickets or anything else with tickets to Walt Disney World. I’m already going to get hopper tickets from ebay. This is from San Antonio TX to of course orlando Florida, but i want a hotel on sight of Walt Disney World. There are 2 adults and 3 kids at the ages of 11, 12, and 14. I would like the dates to be July 25 through July 31 . I would like some cheap prices please. Please leave link with the price and package of the website.

Thank You

Go to Kayak.com. They will compare packages from all the major vacation websites like cheaptickets.com and travelocity so you can do it all on one site and compare side by side.

can i get a discount being on ssi income for airline tickets?

i am on ssi disability is there a program or a discount for ssi disability recipients

No, there isn’t. You’ll have to pay the same as everyone else does.

How can I get free or discounted Disney World Tickets and Universal Studio Tickets.?

There is a big group going to Orlando 6 adults and 2 children and we are trying find the cheapest way to get tickets for such a large group. We have rented a beach house in Coco Beach so we will have two vacations Beach/Disney.

Disney never offer discounts & with the world of Harry Potter opening this month at Universal, expect no discounts from them either. Unless you qualify for the Florida Resident Special, the best you can do is the members discount & get them at Triple AAA.
